CTA fires operator of train that killed woman who dropped phone on tracks

CTA have fired the operator of the train that killed felon smith who was waiting on when she dropped her cell phone on the tracks of the 69th Street Red Line station. She climbed down to get it and was struck by a train approaching. CTA conducted an investigation & video. They found the train operator "violated guidelines regarding train operations, including attention to duty and safe train operations."
