The employment of Service Members and Veterans is not only crucial to the post-service success and health of the Service Members and the Veterans, but is also crucial to the economic health of the City of Chicago, the State of Illinois and the Nation, as a whole. Therefore, Warrior Summit Coalition, on behalf of the 2017 DoD Warrior Games, co-host a Veterans’ Transition Resource Fair, The Welcome Home Warrior Summit, to coincide with the 2017 Department of Defense Warrior Games. The Warrior Games Warrior Summit will take place on July 5th in Chicago, at Soldier Field. Soldier Field is located at 1410 Museum Campus Drive, Chicago, IL 60605. The event will consist of tables/booths of local and national veteran’s resource organizations and companies/employers looking to hire transitioning service members and veterans as well as transition workshops, and other military services to include, but is not limited to: education, legal, mental health, dependent services, and faith based services.
